The Psychophysiology Department is a multidisciplinary area of fundamental science that gathers scientists and students who study the brain and human behavior through an experimental approach. By studying and acquiring knowledge about nervous system mechanisms, members of the Department try to discover several truths about human behavior. One of our main objectives is to educate and train our undergraduate and graduate students, building the next generation of researchers that will be leaders in brain comprehension.
