It has separate areas for animal reproduction and preservation, for breeding and testing. The Vivarium is equipped with controlled environments regulated by biosecurity measures, such as ultraviolet light, and double front and exit doors with a monitor system that controls the entrance of authorized personnel. It also possesses air conditioning, and each micro insulator has two (2) filter systems that use HEPA filters, with air exchanges during established periods.
